LSU Health New Orleans Tiger Run 2017 organized by LSUHealthNO medical students is Sunday, November 19th in Audubon Park. Enter at Magazine Street – the entrance to get to the Audubon clubhouse. Registration will start at 8:00 a.m., and the race/walk will follow at 9:00 a.m.

Proceeds will benefit the LSU Health New Orleans Student-Run Homeless Clinic.

There will be music, games, and jambalaya, which is free for runners and $5 for guests.

“I'm also very excited to announce our new 1-Mile Fun Run that will be in addition to the original 5k race,” says Christie Talley, Class of 2019, School of Medicine SGA VP of Community Affairs.

Another addition this year is a Dog Costume Contest. Judges will reward the best-dressed dog with a special treat.

Registration will be $20 for students and $25 for non-students before race day. Race day prices are $25 for all participants.

In the spirit of competition, the students suggest that participants form teams.

“There can be four people on each team for a total of $80,” says Talley. “Can't make the race but want one of the awesome t-shirts? You can also buy just the t-shirt by following the link for $15. In addition, if you can't attend but would like to donate or sponsor the race, you can follow the link below for more information.”

Online registration is available here.
